I created The Bluebird Doula Seminar to be the most in-depth, accessible, and intimate doula training available.
The Bluebird Doula Seminar features:
- Ten Monthly Missions - Each module includes thorough pre-recorded instruction on the ins and outs of prenatal, birth, and postpartum support, as well as articles, activities, journal prompts, and quizzes to solidify your learning. Most months also have a guest teacher call or two to expand our understanding of birth and how meet families where they are.
- Monthly Live Community Q&A Calls - A special time for us all to come together as a community of learners. Share what you've been working on, what you've been learning, questions that have come up, or stories from births you've attended (with all identifying information changed please!!). It's a circle of birthworkers all supporting each other and learning from each other. This is also an opportunity to ask me questions and get some live on-air mentoring from your teacher.
- Private Facebook Group - A special place on the interwebz just for Bluebird Doula Students -- BONUS -- after graduation, you are automatically added to our Alumnae Facebook Group, too. The support just goes on and on.
- Monthly Private Mentoring Call-In Days - I set the day. You set the time. And we chat about all things birth, life, and business.
- Guest Teacher Calls - One of my FAVORITE parts of this course. You get to learn from the some of the best birthworkers I know. Past topics include: breastfeeding, intuition and birth, supporting undisturbed birth, postpartum depression and birth trauma. Past speakers include: Kristin Avonti, Jennifer Antonik, Stephanie Amsel, Angela Taylor, and more! This year's line-up is to be announced, but it's sure to be AMAZING! (Some topics that I'm currently in the works - The Mother/Doula Balance (all about being a busy doula and a busy mom), Dads & Birth, Placentas, Supporting Miscarriage and Perinatal Loss, and more...)
- Your Awesome Client Packet - Together we co-create an awesome array of handouts and info sheets for your clients. You'll be the most helpful and informed doula in all the land!
- Love Notes - with current articles, discussion questions, and loving nudges to get back into the work. Sometimes they come via email. Sometimes they come via Facebook group posts. Sometimes it's a phone call. Sometimes a text. So many ways to share the love!
