Hi, I'm Chloe! It is so lovely to meet you.
I’m the creator of this course, The Bluebird Doula Seminar. You can find out more about the course here.
For now, let me tell you a little about myself.
For now, let me tell you a little about myself.
I officially started my birth career back in 2006 when I saw a flyer for a doula training in the campus post office. On a whim, or perhaps a breath of inspiration, I spent all of my textbook money on that training and made heavy use of the library that semester. I had no idea what a doula even was at the time, but I jumped in with my whole heart. I attended my first birth shortly thereafter and was instantly in love.
What can compare to the grit and grace of a woman in labor? Watching a mother dig deep into a strength she may not have even known existed within her. Pure love leading her on and on to meet her baby. The struggle and growth and sheer joy in those intense hours.
What can compare to the thrill of birth? In those moments, we bear witness to an everyday miracle, to the first breaths of a brand new human, the first learnings of a new soul. Who knows who she or he will become?
It is powerful work to bear witness and hold space, to simply be present.

Since that first birth, I have devoted myself completely to supporting women and families as they meet their babies. I’ve done this as a doula and a student midwife and, because the world needs more who are willing to serve mamas and babies, a doula trainer.
It is my deepest wish with that all women who are passionate about birth and babies have the support and the confidence to step into their work and change the world through birth.
As midwife Robin Lim says, “Peace on Earth begins with birth.”
By loving one mother at a time. One baby at a time. One community at a time.
Okay….stepping off my poetic soap box now…
Here are some quick facts about me --
The Bluebird Doula Seminar is all about passing on the know-how of 10+ years of birth experience to aspiring doulas around the world.
I want everyone to experience the passion and purpose of doing what you love. (Like they say, when you do what you love, you never work a day in your life!)
I dream of doulas starting and expanding businesses, founding non-profits, serving their communities, and most of all supporting mothers so all families can have their own best birth.
Please, please, please drop me a line and say “hello”! I look forward to hearing from you!
